This term, due to popular demand, we are able to offer a Martial Arts club. This club will start on Tuesday 7th November and run for 7 weeks on a Tuesday evening, 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
Places on some clubs are limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
Children should be collected from the playground exits. In the event of inclement weather you are welcome to wait inside. Please use the KS2 (far) door and wait in the corridor outside the hall.
From time to time, it may be necessary to cancel an extracurricular activity due to unforeseen circumstances. We will always try to give you advance information of any such cancellation.
Please complete one consent form per child for all the activities that your child(ren) wishes to take part in. It is very important that you let us know the ‘going home’ arrangements and supply us with contact telephone numbers during activity times. WITHOUT A CONSENT FORM YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.
Children and parents are reminded of the need for regular attendance. Children who commit to these extra curricular activities are expected to attend every week and non attendance could result in loss of place
We have two Book Clubs at Bempton which are held on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes. As you can see from the photographs we share lunch whilst also sharing books, interesting articles, football programmes, 500 Word story writing competition winning entries, poetry and anything else which the children are interested in and will stimulate their minds and develop a thirst for knowledge and a love of reading.
Our Key Stage One Club members take their books home to share with parents too!
