Please see below for a number of support websites, resources and workshop links.

Family Information Service Hub (FISH)

The helpful FISH team operates a helpline offering free, impartial information for young people, parents, carers and professionals who have a role in supporting families. FISH is a 'one-stop-shop' where you can get details of services in the East Riding for children and young people aged 0-20 years. Please use the following link to find out what support groups are available to you.

East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum

The EYPCF aims to help parents/carers of children and young people (0-25 years), who have any Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), understand how education, health, social care and legal systems work regarding their children. They keep parents/carers informed with what is happening regionally within the East Riding of Yorkshire and nationally.

Children's Centre

East Riding Children's Centres are friendly, welcoming community spaces that offer a range of activities and services for children and their families to give every child the best start in life. East Riding Children's Centres are here for the whole family; from the moment you know you are expecting a baby until your child is 9. Children's Centres have experienced, qualified and friendly staff who provide support to families in different ways. Being a parent is a tough job, they offer the right help at the right time, without judgement so that families feel confident, safe, healthy and happy. They welcome everyone who cares for children, so centres are open to parents, grandparents, foster carers and childminders.
