Spellings are given out on a Monday to be tested the following Monday. These are stapled into pupils' reading diaries and also available on the seesaw app.
Reading books are sent home along with a reading diary for you to record pages they have read and any additional comments. We recommend that you try to read with your child as often as possible, to help build their fluency, comprehension and vocabulary.
Pupils engage in independent reading daily and also have 1:1 reading slots throughout the week, so it is important that they bring their reading book each day.
All pupils have access to maths app 'Prodigy', phonics app 'Teach your monster to read', as well as a log in for 'Typing club' to develop their typing skills. Log in details have been sent out on the seesaw app to allow pupils to access these outside of school if they wish.
We encourage all parents/guardians to sign up to the Seesaw app to keep up with general notices and reminders. If you require a log-in for seesaw, please do not hesitate to let me know.
