From September 2019 there will be some changes to the way our breakfast club is managed. These are given in detail in the Breakfast Club Policy (below). The key changes which will directly affect parents are as follows:
Providing a drop in facility has not proved to be the most efficient way of running the breakfast club and one of the key changes is that from September parents will need to complete a booking form at the beginning of each term so that we can organise staffing and provisions in advance. We will be able to make allowances and offer flexibility at short notice only in exceptional circumstances and not on a regular basis.
Charges will remain the same - £2.50 per child per session and £1.50 for a second sibling if both siblings are attending. Sessions will be free of charge for all children in receipt of Free School Meals (PP). Payments should be made at the beginning of each term / half term for that period. Payment is expected in advance of sessions taken and unfortunately we cannot provide credit. All payment must be made at the school office.
Breakfast Club will open at 7.50am and children should enter through the main school entrance (staff will no longer be able to provide entry through the fire escape). Children should arrive before 8.30am and will be expected to eat breakfast.
Booking forms for the Autumn Term are available from the school office. A PDF copy of the booking form can be found below.
