At Bempton Primary School, we believe that the teaching of religious education (R.E.) is highly valued and as a school we believe in teaching a range of world faiths.
R.E. contributes dynamically to children and young people’s education in schools by provoking challenging questions about meaning and purpose in life, beliefs about god, ultimate reality, issues of right and wrong and what it means to be human. Through these questions we ensure children will develop respect, tolerance and understanding for all major religions.
